Sometimes there are parts of ourselves we struggle to accept. Parts that feel too shameful to bring to light, but that might still play a part in how we relate to the people around us. I know the power of feeling seen and understood, and my goal for our work together is to do just that – to provide understanding and empathy as we enter into the work of self-acceptance together.
ABOUT GRY
I was born and raised in Norway, but have spent my whole adult life in the United Kingdom where I completed my Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Science in the Psychology of Coercive Control. I am currently in my second year of a PhD in Clinical Psychology at Fuller Graduate School of Psychology. As a fairly new California resident, I spend my free time trying to explore as much as I can, while also taking advantage of the beautiful hiking opportunities in the area. It is my deeply held belief that every Norwegian is part mountain goat.
