I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from California State University Channel Islands, and am currently working towards a Master of Science degree in Clinical Psychology at Vanguard University. While pursuing my education I’ve worked in the field Behavior Analysis in treating clients diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other neurodevelopmental disorders while educating their families on treatment interventions in order to improve their quality of life.
When parts of our lives become unmanageable, we take the first step back toward wholeness by reaching out for help. If you are at that place, know that taking this step is the first and one of the hardest step toward healing. I’m here to listen, support you and empower you on that journey.
As humans, we often experience challenges in our relationships with our families, our workplaces, friends and even within our own selves. When we experience anxiety and depression as a result of these relational conflicts, it can be traced back to relational patterns that we learned from our past. Although we cannot change the past, there is the hope that we can create real change in the present. My values and approach to relationships comes from my own experiences. I’ve experienced transition, times of personal & family conflicts, and my own road to personal growth.
My hope in our work together is that you will find clarity in the midst of confusion, renewed compassion, and an empowered sense of purpose in your life. Within the context of the therapeutic relationship, our work together will consist of creating a space in which you can openly and honestly reflect on your experiences, questions, challenges, and joys.
