“It is often said that home is the most powerful word in the English language. It is where we start from. It is what we aspire to. To be at home is to have a place in the scheme of life—a place where we are comfortable; know that we belong; can be who we are; and can honor, protect, and create what we truly love.”
– Sharon Daloz Parks, Big Questions, Worthy Dreams
I believe that creating and recreating home is the chief end of therapy. We are each on a path of becoming more connected to our central selves, to our communities and to our place in the universe. However, sometimes we encounter barriers in the form of anxieties or depressions. Fallen across our paths to deeper self understanding and connection; these can temporarily block us from getting to where we would like to be. I want to help you to clear those barriers, helping you to rediscover wholeness and healing.
It is my goal to create a space for us to explore within a safe and judgment-free framework. Effective therapy will yield results both inside and outside of the therapy room through interpersonal connection and personal exploration.
Each of us is on a path seeking after more integrated meaning. Together I believe we can clear that path, bringing you closer to the wholeness and peace we all seek.
Home is on the horizon, let me partner with you in getting there.
